SAC-VAWG PROJECT

Over the years, especially, during the 2019 pandemic, violence against women and girls have been challenges bedeviling our communities.

With support from WARDC-Ford Foundation, Greenspring Development Initiative implemented
Solidarity, Accountability and Commitment to Ending Violence Against Women and Girls (SAC-VAWG) project at Makoko in Mainland LGA and Ilaje Otumara Community in Yaba LCDA from April to October 2022.

The report consists of Advocacy Visit to Community Leaders, Village Square Meetings with Community Leaders to condemn violence against women and girls, Community Dialogue, Support For Survivors Through VAWG Reportage, Monthly Mentoring and monitoring, Meeting With Women Groups in Organising And Mobilising To Address Issues With VAWG.
